Estate and Property Management:
Gatekeeper; on-call for emergencies; uphold security standards with staff and guests; organization of home; provisions and inventory; casita turnover; HVAC filter maintenance; fountain care; general esthetics; maintain outdoor spaces; trash management; scheduling of annual vendors such as window, upholstery, and carpet cleaners, also coordinating work with family’s absence and other events; construction management; project management.
Administrative Support:
Budget management; credit card reconciliation; expense reporting; well meter reporting; use of digital calendar and email for correspondence with busy Principals.
Vendor Relations:
Research; obtain bids; hire; coordinate work; supervise & inspect; approve and pay invoices.
Staff Management:
Hiring process; training; supervision; terminations; maintenance of standards
Record-keeping:
Create and maintain electronic household manuals for all estate and property records; create housekeeping standards and schedules; create and maintain home and auto maintenance schedules.
Horticulture & Arbor Care:
Complete care, growing, and harvesting for 2,000 sq. ft. herb and vegetable gardens, 600 sq. ft. greenhouse, ~60 fruit, citrus, & nut trees, grapevines, and ~100 roses bushes; manage compost; irrigation schedule management, and minor irrigation repair; determine needs and maintain monthly contract for tree trimming, fertilization, and pest control; consult with arborist annually on property.
Animal Care:
Point of contact for all health related care; maintain health records; administration of medications; transportation; sitting; training; overall general care. Very comfortable around horses, and other large animals.
Fleet Maintenance:
Obtain registration for new vehicles; renew current registrations; obtain necessary tests across state borders to maintain current registrations; ensure all vehicles are clean and fueled; schedule, coordinate, and drop-off/pickup for maintenance.
General Support:
Airport transportation or vehicle coordination; prescription management; mail distribution; property security; misc. errands as needed.
Limited teen childcare; transportation, minimum supervision when parents travel.
Systems:
iOS & Apple, Android & Microsoft OS; G-Suite; 3CX phone system; Doorbird entry system; iView DVR & Samsung SmartView cameras; Nest, Ring; Evernote, Trello, Asana; Savant, Lutron, Crestron; Sting and Nextgen security and camera systems.
